Solid Symposium 2024

This session will run on May 02 and 03 over the course of the regular program of SoSy 2024. Presenters or speakers of other sessions, as well as any other interested SoSy participants, are welcome to submit posters for presentation.
The presentations will be held as on-site Q&A within the official SoSy lunch breaks (see timetable) at the lunch room (see locations. All posters will be presented during both days, so networking using sticky notes, discussions before / after the official program or else is possible and desired.

Detailed Information on Abstract Submission

• Submitted abstracts must be in English, unpublished, and must not be currently under review for any other publication.
• Abstracts must have a maximum of 4 one-column pages, plus references. Extended Abstracts that do not meet the size and formatting requirements will be rejected without review. Accepted authors are required to present their posters at the session in person. The accepted abstracts are considered to be published online as CEUR-Workshop Proceedings.
• Submissions must follow the CEUR style format (overleaf, zip-file with docx, odf, tex, and others).

• The review process is double-blind. Abstracts must be anonymised prior to submission for review by removing any identifying information.
• All abstracts must be in PDF format and submitted through OpenReview.
• If you also submit an abstract or paper for another SoSy24's session, or are invited speaker and also want to contribute at poster session, please to chose identical abstract titles and add a comment to OpenReview to clarify that fact
• Authors of accepted abstracts will have the possibility to add 1 or 2 more pages to their paper to address the reviewers', and audiences comments for the camera ready version (in total the camera ready should have a maximum of 6 pages, plus references).

Detailed Information on Poster Design

• Size up to DIN A0
• Portrait format (short side top and bottom, long side sideways)
• Please add authors contact data (at least Name and email address) at the bottom.
• Please also add a portrait photo of at least the presenting author at top right-hand side.

Detailed Information on camera-ready version

• Please use the appropriate CEUR-WS author agreement variant:
  • NTP: Authors shall use this form if they included no copyrighted third party material in their paper text (or accompanying sources, datasets). This is the right variant in most case
  • TP: Authors shall use this form if they did include copyrighted third party material in their paper or accompanying material. They must then also attach a copy of the permission by the third party to use this material in the signed author agreement!
